ABOUT MEIULIA POPESCU

Clinical Psychotherapist UKCP

Beyond the sum of my qualifications, degrees and training and beyond Iulia, the therapist, there is Iulia Popescu, a human passionate about authentic and unique experiences, healing through self-reflection, walking and continuous growth. Experience has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, balance. No matter what happens in life, I keep walking sometimes with small steps, sometimes at a normal pace, and sometimes… running.

MY APPROACHWhat characterises my approach?

Walking, both literally and metaphorically, plays an important role in the way I understand balance, reflection, and personal growth.

Bringing together my passion for psychotherapy and walking, I have developed a therapeutic approach that supports meaningful and lasting transformation. This method creates space for self-exploration, deeper understanding, and reconnection with yourself. Through this process, I aim to help you better understand and manage your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and the life contexts and triggers that shape your experience.

MOVEMENT & MINDThe Power of Walking

Mental Health
Walking and its impact on mental health
I believe walking strongly supports mental health by improving emotional balance, increasing resilience, and encouraging a calmer mindset.
Emotional Well-Being
Walking boosts mood and confidence
Walking improves mood and self-esteem in my experience, while also supporting overall well-being in the people I help.
Stress Relief
Walking can help manage stress and reduce anxiety.
I see walking as a stress-management tool, creating almost a meditative space that clears the mind and restores calm.
